Cricket Rambles

Cricket is the game of games,

You needn’t try to win.

It can go for days and days

Did you notice it begin?



The sound of leather onto willow

Can make an old man cry.

The ball’s so hard it can break a skull.

Don’t ask the reason why.



One chain is all the batsmen has,

It’s beyond your comprehension.

He faces the bowler as to the lions

And hides his apprehension.



The wicket keeper wears some pads.

The batsman has a box.

The bowler rubs his crotch a lot

And the box should save the cocks.
